Listen to the whispers, DON’T wait for the shouts!
Don’t do a Karen!
It took a major SHOUT from my body with the loss to my hearing and developing Tinnitus in my left ear for me to finally realise I had to do something about the anxiety I was dealing with on a daily basis.
You see I was lucky; I had a good support network around me being surrounded by lovely, kind and supportive friends and family.
So what difference could a Therapist make?
The answer was a LOT.
Seeing a Therapist is completely different to the support you get from friends and family.
In fact most of the time you don’t have to talk at all, if you don’t want to, you just need to know how you want to feel and leave the rest to me.
As we say in yoga ‘Satya & Ahimsa’, ‘Truth and Non Harm’.
Listen to your own body, it won’t let you down and listen to the whispers DON’T wait for the shouts, if it’s saying, “what you’re doing isn’t enough, I’m still struggling”, find help in whatever way you need to.
